The school day at St Bees Village School is divided into three main sessions: first lesson, break, second lesson, lunch and afternoon session.  Infant classes will usually have a break during the afternoon session, although times may vary.  On some days the children are able to attend school activity clubs that run after the end of the normal school day. The information for these are available from the main page, entitled “After School Clubs”.

We encourage all our children to arrive at school in good time for the start of the day. As a rule we ask them to try and arrive at school no sooner than 8.45am unless they are registered with the Breakfast Club. We can then be sure that full supervision is available and that they can enter school safely. Our registration takes place right at the start of the morning session. If for some genuine reason however, your child is late, s/he should still make every effort to come to school.

Please see class pages to look at our timetables for a normal week in school, for details of other events which may affect these, please see the calendar page.
