Special Educational Needs and Disabilities

St Bees Village School is an inclusive school and we value each and every child.  Supporting all children to enable them to achieve their very best potential, whilst ensuring their happiness and wellbeing, is of utmost importance to us.  Additional help may need to be provided in school either by staff or through liaison with external specialists, in order to support them in their learning and meet their individual needs.

'Pupils who have SEN and/or disabilities make good progress because of the early identification of their needs and the effective support that staff give. Leaders have identified the barriers to learning that pupils face. They have put in place ... measures to ensure that pupils flourish.' (Ofsted 2018)
