Home learning week 1
Welcome back everyone! I hope that you had a lovely half term and enjoyed a well - deserved break from home learning!
Now we are back to it! Here is the first week's suggested home learning activities.
English - Read, Write, Inc:
Continue with the daily Ruth Miskin sessions and 'Ditty sheets.' I have attached the up to date schedule. The 'Ditty sheets' this time, have a suggested sentence written at the bottom (Hold a sentence) and a suggested question to ask after reading the story.
English - Talk for Writing: I have attached a new Talk for Writing booklet - 'The Amazing Adventures of Max.' This booklet should last until we are back in school (hopefully!!)
Maths - This week we will be learning about subtraction. Watch the Number Blocks subtraction episode.
I have prepared a pack with a selection of both practical activities and worksheets in a Twinkl folder. You can select which one is most appropriate for your child.

Science - We will continue to learn about woodland animals this week, focusing on hibernation, using the story 'Don't Hog the Hedge!'.
