Homework- Autumn Term 2018

Image result for homework

Homework will be set each Monday and will be due to be completed by the following Monday- activities each evening should take no more than 20 minutes. The homework will reinforce work done in class during the week and will include: spellings, reading, writing, English and Maths using Education City (www.educationcity.com) and MyMaths (www.mymaths.co.uk) or be of a research nature. Hard copies of the homework will be available for children who would prefer or do not have internet access. If your child does not have internet access, homework requiring internet can be completed at school during the lunchtime homework club.

I would also like to encourage the children to do some extra writing at home, therefore I will be putting a different picture  on this page each week which I hope will act as inspiration for your child to do a piece of writing as homework. This could take the form of a description, poem, play, story or any other type of writing! Once complete, the writing should be brought into school to share with the class and then it will be kept in our special writing file for everyone to read!
