Autumn Term
After half term we will continue with our Autumn Work. We will be looking at Books by the Author Julia Donaldson, particularly the 'Gruffalo 'and 'The Stick Man'. We will continue to explore our local environment in order to enhance the learning experiences for the children. We will be visiting Whinlatter Forest as part of this topic, collecting items from our environment to create some art work. We will be using our experiences to write about what we have been doing and read books by the same author looking for similarities and differences. We will continue to learn from our continuous provision and will be creating the Gruffalo's cave and a forest of our own. We will be counting and sorting items we have found in our environment and crating props to retell stories.
